Saskatchewan and Alberta win at Youth Nationals

The 2018 Youth National Championships took place this past weekend in Regina.
In the women's gold medal match it was the hosts Saskatchewan edging out a tough Alberta side in a 27-25 thriller. Mackenna Klotz of Saskatchewan won the MVP award with her impressive 45 goals.
The mens final saw Alberta's young guns defeat Manitoba by a 28-14 score.
Local Saskatchewan native Kyle Colwell had a phenomenal weekend notching an incredible 54 goals to win the tournament scoring title and MVP award.
